From the Artist:
As a child, I would lay under the great white pine’s in a bed of needles so soft they
tickled the back of my legs. I’d run through the meadow, where the grasses were as tall
as I was small. I’d go just beyond the hole in the fence to these spaces and imagine I
was free to be and do whatever I wished like a bird in flight.
Today, I worship not only the bigger landscape, but also the diminutive details…the bird
song, colors, textures, woven nests and the creatures that abound.
